The konjac sponge comes in dehydrated form, is therefore rather hard and should not be used dry. Allow it to soak in lukewarm water until it’s fully saturated with water, increases in volume and feels soft to the touch. Gently rub it all over the skin with or without product for a revitalizing massage or to lift residues of cleanser, makeup remover or face mask. Rinse thoroughly after each use with plenty of water to get rid of any residue that may affect its duration, and allow to dry naturally in a well-ventilated place. The sponge will harden again and slightly shrink in size.
HOW TO TAKE CARE OF IT: If properly maintained, konjac sponges should last up to 3-4 months. Aggressive detergents and excessively hot water may affect the duration of the sponge, especially if handled with little care or rubbed aggressively. To keep your sponge in perfect conditions we recommend rinsing it thoroughly after each use, then allow to dry completely and naturally. Do not boil your sponge or machine wash it. Do not dry it with a hairdryer or leave it to dry on the radiator. When it starts to fall apart, it’s time to replace it. It can be disposed of with organic waste or placed under the soil of plants that need extra moisture.
